I searched and didnt see a thread about this guy (please delete if i missed it).

Watch his highlite tape at Rivals or on YouTube.....and please explain to me why we havent offered this guy?

Another thing I noticed.....damn near every QB in the top 250 has an offer from Bama.

Agree with your assesment though, i would love for us to try to get this guy. Right now it seems unlikely though. And yeah i noticed the bama thing too its annoying.

I think they are making a point to go after just the top two QB's for now but have a dozen or so on the back burner. I think it sends a message to the ones we really want by not offering to any others at this point. JMO

One of the most unheralded yet most talented quarterbacks in the CIF San Diego Section is 6-foot-5, 207-pound junior Pete Thomas of Valhalla. Those with a keen eye for talent can see that Thomas is a Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger (6-5, 241) clone.

Still on the board of the early-birds wooing Thomas are Georgia, LSU, Wake Forest and USC. The list of interested parties is certain to swell.

With three games left in the regular season of his junior year, Thomas is averaging 274 total yards per game. As a passer, Thomas statistically ranks with the elite. He has completed .706 percent of 197 passes for 1,821 yards and 21 touchdown strikes. Only twice has he been intercepted, and one of those came off a deflection.

Just watching his latest video on Rivals. This kid is very very good. Long and short passes are on point and flying hard. May need a little work with his feet but he looks for real.
