We democratically elect a representative government. Less democracy would mean less direct elections.

He peaked with the World is Flat but even that is a 10 page minor observation bloated into a multi-hundred page tome.

I sometimes read his NYT opinions and the reader comments are frightening - he's viewed as some great business thinker when all he does is advocate using government to direct business. He and Laura Tyson must love each other.
