Peterman. Just to piss RockHillOrange off.

Really don't care who the starter is, as long as they play well.....oh. And winning would be nice too.

Why do people insist on pushing for a controversy? After spring ... or perhaps into fall ... practice, it will be a much more meaningful question. Nobody knows and we aren't the ones responsible for the decision.

I know right. But it was football talk between us men and I couldn't figure out a better place to put it.

You're an instigator. Because of this poll CBJ will be forced to start a quarterback he may or may not really want to start.

peterman!!!!

Often times, the 2nd string q.b. is the most popular player on the team.

Remember when Stephens was playing poorly and fans wanted to see B.J. Coleman play? I remember him starting the Vandy game. We had maybe four pass plays the entire game. We ran the ball all the time and we won the game because Eric Berry forced an interception and gave us the game. So, At that time, B.J. didn't have the coaches confidence enough to even pass the ball. So, B.J. was not an improvement over Stephens.

None of us has seen Peterman play yet, so the jury is still out on him. However; I have seen Worley play. He played well against M.T.S.U. but the Vandy game this season and the Arkansas game from last season were not good for him at all......

I hope the light comes on for Worley. He's a good kid with a ton of unused potential.

In the three games that he started in 2011, M.T.S.U., "O Bama" and USC, he threw for 604 yards, 1 T.D. and 3 interceptions.

However, he only had two receivers. One was Da Rick and other was Rivera, so the defenses knew who to key on. Zack & Arnett were not much of a threat to USC or "O Bama" so they had soft coverage on them.

This season against Vandy, I don't know what happened to him......

If VolNation would have been around in 1994, Brandon Stewart would have been burning up the board. While it is hard to imagine now, there was quite the contingent of support for him over the gangling frosh from New Orleans.

Further, it was a legitimate discussion. Peyton was far from the obvious choice based just on the on-the-field play. But, I guess CPF and Cutt got lucky and picked the right one. :)

The good/bad thing for all of the QBs, and every other player for that matter, is that they are all freshman now. The new staff will go with the guys that pick up the system the fastest and play the best. No one is ahead of anyone at this point.

At this point I have only seen one of the QBs play against SEC opponents... And under the circumstances, I was impressed with Worley's play as a true FR in the SEC. I also think I remember a few WR drops, including a TD drop by Da'Rick right before the half in a close USC game in 2011... This year, he had less snaps. I think I remember a pick (off a tip vs Akron) and the pick six "on the road" at Vandy. I will say that I was impressed with how he responded to that interception and led a FG drive on the ensuing drive before the end of the first half. I think Worley has a ton of upside (and I do not know the other guys yet)....

you mean the Vandy game he went 8 for 11, and unless you know the play call there is no way to know if he threw to the wrong spot or CP turned the wrong way. CP was known for running the wrong route at times.

Not sure why everyone is busting Worley's balls for the Vandy game this last season. Dude went like 6-8 and the int was because CP completely ran the wrong route. So he was 75% and led one of the only sucessful drives all game. Give him a damn break.

Peterman for three reasons

1. Seems more athletic
2. Worley has been decent but not special
3. I like Worley but Rock Hill Orange is being a jerk about it.

Here's my guess. Looking at the players, Ferguson is probably out. Worley can run, but he isn't a particularly mobile quarterback. Based on Butch Jones past, he leans toward a running QB if he has one available. He believed Peterman was a fit for the system before since he recruited him to run it, so I would be surprised if he wasn't the guy. That said, everybody is entering the system fresh, so anyone could win; I just happen to believe the evidence points to Peterman.

A lot of fans thought Stewart was the next Shuler with his mobility.

I will take a wait and see approach as to who I want to start, but had to vote for Worley, He will be a Junior and seems like people forgot he was Gatorade player of the year, (Was he not?)

All three guys are very talented. It just depends on CBJ and staff's abilities to mold them into their offensive system. Peterman was the 6A Player of the Year throughout the entire state of Florida. Worley was the Gatorade Player of the Year in South Carolina. Ferguson was an elite 11 finalist and highly touted qb as well. Really, how could we go wrong?? Only, Dooley could screw this up!!! Lol
