Assuming both are fully in play and realistic options for UT, who would you rather have as the next HC?

Petrino = proven college coach but also proven to be a weasel.

Gruden = who the hell knows about college level but the guy is always on TV and I've heard he gets his hair cut in Knoxville

Petrino does not meet Hart's qualifications. He is simply not a candidate. PERIOD.

Gruden. Never ever ever Petrino. Petrino's defenses suck anyway. We don't need Petrino around our program right now. It would re-divide the fan base and he still could not beat Bama

I don't really believe that either are in play. Gruden probably would be if Tennessee was willing and able to offer him maybe a five-year 40 million dollar deal. If Mr. Hart says that there is not an obscenely big pile of money to offer the next coach, I am inclined to agree with him. Although what prospective coaches consider a big enough pile and what I would consider a big enough pile are probably two different things.

Petrino is not in play, not an option and will never coach at UT. UK doesnt even want him. That should answer that.

Why would you want Petrino? He can't recruit and gets pounded by his rivals
