Now Peyton holds season passing yard mark as well as TD record he broke last week. Congrats to him and the Broncos.

I really really hope he is able to win the Superbowl this year with the Broncos. He needs another ring.

I have been probably the most critical of where Peyton stands in the GOAT debate. I have been bashed time and time again. I have been humbled. After this season's performance, I might just have to agree with the majority of VN. What a season!

I do too but I don't trust Denver's D at all.

Interesting to note that 3 of 4 top scoring offenses in NFL history did not win the SB. Only 1 even made it to the SB ('07 Pats) and the other is currently playing.

Anybody who says he's not the best Damn QB to play the game is crazy. It still makes me sick that he doesn't have a heisman to put with the rest of his accolades. Everybody on here is right he is simplly the GOAT!

I particularly enjoyed seeing him burn Charles Woodson on the 3rd TD pass.

Woodson has been the same thing in the NFL that he was in college.... a very good DB. Terry Fair had a better year playing DB and returning kicks than Woodson in '97 when he was erroneously handed Peyton's Heisman trophy.

No Doubt the GOAT IMO

Finest Football Brain and Skills EVER to take a snap...

*still needs another ring or two to be "consensus" GOAT, though

But...he helped shut down those run oriented Big 10 passing attacks...And he caught some passes...hewasawesome :shakehead:

Peyton is just incredible & only gets better with age. Has there ever been a better representative of the University of Tennessee? We Big Orange fans are spoiled
& lucky to call this man a true VOL!

Anyone stop to think that he has done this with a less talented team(plus Welker, minus best 2 Def. players) that backed into the play-offs with Tebow at QB ? Talk about making everyone better !!! Also that's ast 37 years of age ! Throw in 4 !!!!!! Neck Surgeries, and you have a Fning LEGEND... SB or not ... GOAT !!!! No discussion, unless your a talking head paid to create stories....

He was way better than Terry Fair but I did think Champ Bailey was better that year.

He might've been better than Terry, don't disagree. But Terry had just about as many ints and he was definitely a better punt returner than Woodson. Also, Terry was a first rd pick.... not too shabby.

Funny how Woodson never even returned punts or kickoffs in the NFL. He averaged 8 yds per punt ret his sr year at Michigan iirc. Damn, Peyton was robbed.
