Peyton Gets Flagged for Taunting

This is rather shocking for the fact I can't recall manning ever being apart of something like this.
Not shocked as to why because of the cause.

This may be one of the most exiting things in exhibitions next to the Titans comeback win over the sorry falcons can't defend worth a damn finding a way to choke.
It's like they're the other ug bulldogs.

I'm on Swearinger's side. He went low with the shoulder. Welker ducked. What is he supposed to do? It's a flag, because that's the rule, but it's in the nature of the game. Manning would probably change his mind if he saw it on replay.

It shouldn't have been a flag, he led with his shoulder which can clearly be seen in the replay.

It was a culmination of continuous trash talking from Swearinger that made Manning snap. The Welker hit was the final straw.

I don't think the taunt was all about the hit. Swearinger runs his mouth constantly. If you watched Hard Knocks the Falcons wanted to kick his ass too. He was talking even when he wasn't making any plays.

I think he is trying to be like Sherman but going about it the wrong way.

It should be reviewable.

But that wouldn't make a difference. He led with the shoulder pad, but hit Welker in the helmet. That's why it's a foul. It's unfair, but I guess they decided this is the only reasonable way to protect guys across the middle.

Walker lowered his head. Shouldn't be a foul if you bring it upon yourself.

Right, but that's not how they call it anymore.

It's abysmal and offensive.
I mean that both for the offense favoring, and in the more familiar sense of something as repulsive or negative.

Won't be shocked if almost every contact with helmet by defense even non violent is called a penalty.
Nfl keeps this up nhl will exceed it in the amount of violence.

This is another sad attempt of protect the players going overboard in what is a violent sport they wear the damn pads and helmet for a reason for crying out loud.
