I'll usually defend PM but not in this case. I just can't understand why he would do this. Even if he is giving the money to charity, I can't deal with participating in such a gross display of wealth ($200K for a 16th birthday party). And I'm a capitalist!

What a stupid name for the topic. Would someone hurting for money pledge 1,000,000 for his college?

Then again, I'm shocked Manning would do this. If you do something like this, do it for free.
