I barely remember. I was born in '90, but I know I started to love TN football (and football in general) when I was around 4-5. I was looking at old ticket stubbs the other day and realized that the first Vol game my dad took me to was Peyton's last game at Neyland against Vandy.

No kidding. I never understood naming someone after a college player but to each their own. I remember the 1995 UK game when UK was wearing UT out, one of the announcers made the comment as to the number of babies that would be named Billy Jack (after Billy Jack Haskins) should UK hold on to win....they didn't.

Those were some good years. I may have been under the influence of liquid intoxicants but I was at every home game from 95-97 except the '96 UF game.

Unfortunately for the youngins or new Vol fans they didn't get to experience Neyland back then. It's night and day compared to now.

The good thing is students don't have to stand in line all night for tickets to the Florida or Alabama game
