'More than just a guy that can throw it so far': Peyton Manning 'impressed' with Joe Milton's accuracy

“I was impressed with his accuracy,” Manning said Sunday night during an appearance on ‘The Nation’ on WNML in Knoxville. “Obviously the camp, they’re coaching the high school kids, but in between practices, Eli (Manning) and I go out and watch the college quarterbacks throw and certainly look amongst a very impressive group of college quarterbacks, Joe’s arm certainly stands out.
“I was impressed with his accuracy, his footwork. I can tell he has worked on those things.”

If Hooker can get it late in his career, so can Joe.

Peyton's comments about Milton mean more to me than his comments about Heupel.
Not to be a Peyton basher, but he said ok things about Pruitt and good things about both Jones and Dooley...I get it part of that was publicly supporting his university and the image, but I trust the guy more as a QB evaluator than a HC evaluator.

Yep, it takes one to know one.

Exactly. Had Pruitt still been here, I feel certain Hooker would have languished under a subpar QB coach. I have no doubt it was Heupel that had the biggest influence in resurrecting Hooker's career and looks as if he might very well have done the same for JM3. I truly hope Joe's Vanderbilt and Orange Bowl performance are true precursors to what is in store for this season.
