Put on an amazing show at their concerts!

Bootsy was the most famous member besides George Clinton

this Peyton song is certainly not indicative of how jam the music was in the 70s

He is a musician/songwriter. In the early 70's, he was part of James Brown's band. He later was the bass player and a key member of Parliament-Funkadelic and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the mid 90's.

Wow.....I grew up in the 70`s and don`t recall ever hearing of him. Guess I spent to much time at the disco`s.

Just saw Bootsy Collins Band at a music festival about a month ago he was really good. Love the whole production of the show with the over the top suits,guitars, and back up singers.
