Peyton talking to Peterman when Worley went out

I feel for the kid...his appearances have been monumental in scope...and equally monumental in lack of execution. He's been dealt some bad hands...and came up a bust in most situations. It is unfortunate for him.

BTW...The vine is mildly funny....imho

And...yes to this...

No. He needs about 10 games under his belt, half of them at home against lesser opposition.

He also needs the oc to throw him some bones from the playbook to ease him into the game..

Personally I think he is avg at best but some of the plays sat were not the best for a backup.

Agreed. Both his opportunities to "come in an save a game" have been against ranked opponents at a time in the game their defense was making a statement. Hard to find a rhythm. I believe he'll get better.

He fudged a handoff to Neal against UF. How much more of a bone can he get thrown to him?

He's been thrown to the wolves both times. Hopefully he can get some more experience when we have a 30 point lead on Vandy

Most backups get thrown into bad situations. If the plan is to red shirt Dobbs, I hope Peterman plays a lot of reps in the UTC game for not only some live reps, but to avoid a freak accident to Worley.

Agreed. He needs some playing time against the team he is going to transfer to. Blue font.

Playcalling was bad. Jake is oblivious to the reality that you cant plug and play quarterbacks in the sec.

UTC after about mid-way through the 2nd quarter should be Peterman's "breakout" game. Give "Warrior Worley" a much deserved, needed rest and give Peterman the total reigns with all the playbook. If he continues to screw up, we know that we don't have a 2nd QB (if Dobbs RS) and this could also be a great recruiting tool for you-know-who.

The conversation would go like this...."See, Worley is a Sr. and look who we have as his replacement (while showing film of UTC......do you think you could do better? We certainly do".

I thought so, too. Seems since UGA was bringing 2 linebackers every snap, Jake would've dialed up a slant here and there to back them off and give him an easy, rhythm throw.

I agree, the game plan going into the UTC game should be for Peterman to play the entire second half regardless of the score at half. He needs the experience with the 1st team offense.

Disagree. We need him to stay ... Yes, we have some incoming talent next year, but those don't always pan out and we aren't exactly flush with QB's right now. I'm hoping that whatever time he receives this year and the spring will bring Peterman to the level we need him at for next year. Although, I would honestly rather see Dormady win the starting spot as early as possible.

UTC would be good for playing time if we get out front early. What may happen though, is that we beat Florida, and come out flat as a pancake against UTC. Then, it takes 3 quarters to put them away, and Peterman doesn't get in. I would take that though.

He just needs to play. He will get better and better with every chance he gets. He needs to get in the Chattanooga game as soon as possible and Butch needs to let him do more than just hand off.
