I believe Phil one the last major of the 2005 season and it definitely looks like he is taking the first of the 2006 season. Can he bring in the next two this year?

Highly doubtful . . . He's playing great, but there's a reason why it's only been done once.

True, but the Jones Slam was a little different. The majors were different and professional golf was not what it is today.

I'll give you that.

Where is the US Open this year? That would probably be the toughest one for Phil to win.

Winged Foot in New York. I have never heard of it and know nothing about the course.

That was the course where Davis Love III won the PGA Championship in the late 90s. It was the place where he putted out on the 18th hole with a huge rainbow in the background.

I've never thought about that, but he does bear a resemblance.

I was only at the practice round on Wednesday. Didn't take a camera. I've taken pictures in the past and just didn't want to deal with it this time.

It was as it has been every time I've been there - absolutely immaculate and everything in its place right down to the green wrappers on the sandwiches. That place is crazy.

Phil has done well in some US Opens - lost a tough one to Payne Stewart and went down to the end with Goosen I think.

On the other hand, I don't remember him doing so well in the British.

The notion of Mickelchoke winning any more majors makes me want to :pukeb:

I know :D. People love him, and I know I should like him too, but he has a tendancy to act like the smartest kid in class.

He's also got the hottest wife on the Tour.

David Toms and Tiger Woods might argue with you on that one.

Haven't seen Toms' wife but I like Phil's over Tiger's. :twocents:
