My point was that Lee has been in the majors for six years, and in only one season has he looked like a top-flight, ace-type pitcher. Of course he makes the Phillies better, but this isn't the turn-the-lights-out move that getting Halladay would have been.

I think you're discounting Lee a bit. If he was on the Phillies this whole year he may have won 15 games already...
