Plays for Oklahoma State now, they are getting killed by Stanford in the second half. He has 3 rebounds, 2 fouls, 0 points.

I really wish the best for this kid. He had immense pressure on him and didn't handle it well. I didn't think he would be able to put it back together, but I'm very glad he did. All Vol fans should support this kid and don't be quick to judge. Some people struggle with inner demons more than others and it's a good thing to see that he was able to overcome them.

People thought he was going to be real good cause he averaged 20 points and 15 reb,and 5 block shots a game in high school.not thinking about that he was 5 to 10 inchs taller than most that he played against.i told my dad when he came to ut that he was probally another john snodgrass.for you young guys and any others who dont know the name he was another 6,11 skinny white boy who i consider the worst big man to ever get scolly at ut.there has been alot of wasted scollys over the years.

I wouldn't call Jurick skinny. He was 250 as a high school senior. I also feel like he was closer to like 10 blocks a game in high school. saw him a few times.. Was pathetic offensively but he had like 15 blocks at one of the games I saw.

Jurick is a punk. Bad experiences when he was in Knoxville.

Too bad he didn't stay. Would have fit right in with Tyler Smith, Brian Williams, Melvin Goins, Cameron Tatum, Ramar Smith and Duke Crews.

I hate to crap on other players to make a point but if Jurick is a punk, what does that make the players who were arrested/kicked off the team for drugs and guns?

At least Jurick has never been in trouble as far as I know. He just wasn't very good...
