The Rally drivers have a lot of talent.
I would have to agree.:thumbsup:IMO if you could have the top drivers from all forms of Motorsport compete in a series where they all raced in each of their respective types of cars, the Pro Rally drivers would do the best overall.
I base this on the demands placed on Pro Rally drivers. They have to drive on constantly changing surfaces and conditions over several days. But the main challenge is they are racing at high speeds on tree lined narrow roads and near-roads with blind corners and drop-offs with hills where they regularly get airborne. Add to this spectators standing along the roads, and even in the road. Still not convinced? Consider all aformentioned with the fact they have never driven the course before, there is no practice run! These drivers have to be able to react like no others, and have car control skills that would make them the most adaptable to other types of cars. I have heard F1 drivers say Rally is the most difficult to do.
I would be torn between F1 & Rally. F1 because it's got to be the ultimate G-machine and Rally because it's got to be the most challenging. I rode with a rally driver on a prerun in Ohio, and was stoked for days. It would be the discipline I think I would do best at as I have cross country motorcycle and Moto-Cross experience.
how in the he!! did you get to do that? i would choose rally in a heartbeat.

In most cases that might be true. I would think that Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon(as much as i don't like him!),and maybe J. Montoya and Jeff Gordon could compete in almost any style of racing and hold there own after a few pratice runs. Stewart has won 9 diffrent championships in his 27 years of racing( 2 Cup,1 IRL, and the USAC triple crown just to name a few). And Robby runs anything with wheels and on any surface.
