Bama over Arkansas

I think Arkansas is the better team but their chemistry just has not been there so far. Arkansas and Bama are similar this season with minimal size but good outside shooting. Rice and Wolfenbarger are a good matchup in the post as neither is very physical. I just think Bama is due for a win at this point. They are rebuilding this season but I did not expect them to have such a rough start to SEC play.

Georgia over Miss State

I believe UGA will handle them pretty easily. They just don’t have anyone that can matchup with Staiti. Does depend to a certain extent who MSST has available. I maintain the Hayes sister situation is looking like a mess and they will be at yet another school next season.

Kentucky over Florida

Would actually pick UF right now if the game were in Gainesville. I think this will be a close one but Kentucky gets such a homer whistle, especially for Howard. UF has impressed me this season, they are playing much more focused and seem to be blocking out all the noise. The Briggs situation could have really derailed them, instead they have rattled off 3 wins. Granted they were all against the bottom 3 teams in the league so far. Still shocked A&M is down there.

Ole Miss over Texas A&M

A&M is at home but they just have not looked good recently. Not fair to speculate but after watching several interviews recently I suspect Coach Blair may be experiencing some cognitive decline. He has always been a very active in game coach. He would basically run their offense from the sideline on every play. Not seeing that this season. Maybe he is just feeling really low being that it’s his final season, but something just isn’t quite right. He stood there with his arms folded most of our game which was not usual for him in a game like that.

They do matchup well with Ole Miss with Patty possibly being the best matchup for Austin in the league.

Missouri over Vandy

MIZZOU has been the surprise of the league for me this season. Really did not think they were for real in the non-con but they have played very consistent so far. Shooting a great % from the field and from 3. They have 5-6 players that you have to legit close out on which makes them very tough to guard. They play Frank at the 5 a lot and she’s a dynamite shooter if you don’t get out.

I think Ralph is just beginning to see what the SEC is about. She looks pretty stressed to me. Welcome to a real conference, babe.

Kentucky- several players being out has weaken the team, other players have to set up big time. Howard has to be more vocal with
teammates in order spark something positive. Kentucky needs a good win to give them some momentum.

Florida at Kentucky
Ole Miss
at Texas A&M
Missouri at Vandy

Road teams looking to come out ahead in nearly all of the matchups.
That is the only reason I pick Kentucky, I’ve loss Florida the last 3 picks. I believe Ole Miss is a very good team. I believe Missouri is much better then Vandy, they should be able to overcome the road trip. Arkansas is a hit or miss. Miss State not very good at all this year even at home. Glad I didn’t have any money on any of these games. As always go Lady Vol’s.

YOU RANG?

Ark at Bama - Who cares?
Georgia - the HC can recruit. And we all know recruiting is all that matters. Recruiting is hard.......
Florida - A REAL P-5 program will beat a Tennessee player turned HC every time.
TAM - Math is hard..........
Vandy - I love Shea Ralph. Crushes are hard........

Louisville over who ever they play - Coach Jeff Walz is a Greek God who strides Mount Olympus with the wisdom of Zeus and the thunder of Thor!!

I actually find MSST to be better than they have any right to be without having a serviceable C on the team since Carter stepped away from the team. Novak has them playing at a substantially higher level than McCray-Penson achieved with much better talent.

I think Kentucky will beat Florida rather routinely. They will be out for blood.

Arkansas at Alabama - Five of the Tide's seven losses this season have been by eight points or less. In six of seven losses this season, Alabama has led its opponents in the second half. I think Alabama has the coaching.

Georgia at Miss State - The Lady Bulldogs are one of only three teams, joining Wisconsin-Green Bay and Tennessee, to have a winning record every year since 1980 and have been to 34 of 39 NCAA tournaments. Besides, they won at Mizzou which is something USC (the #2 team in the SEC) was unable to do.

Florida at Kentucky - Kentucky got whomped badly at Tennessee but they are a better team than the score indicated. This is a must win for Ky on their home floor.

Ole Miss at Texas A&M - I have to admit, Ole Miss is better than I expected. A&M, not so much.

Missouri at Vandy - Mizzou hasn't showed me all that much since the USC win. Vandy needs this win if they are on the rise. Game favors home floor.
