There's still a lot of denial and whining on Tidefans about the refs. They missed the ones the refs screwed us with. They also forget that in the history of college football, top-three teams were 476-0 when scoring 49 points. It took Tennessee’s flash-bang offense to break that trend and make those teams 476-1 hahahaha! And we hung fiddy two on that ***!

But aren't you aware that refs aren't supposed to call any penalties when there's less than 4 minutes left in the game!!!

They actually spouted that nonsense on forum, it was too late in the game to make this call!

Boy howdy, the Gumps are still all kinds of butt hurt over the lack of discipline on that team.

But I'm thinking that if you were really that good, the Vols should never have been that close to begin with, right?

Where are our local hang around bama fans? I'd like to hear their views of the game. I mean they are always here for back handed comments when bama wins.

They could not cover our receivers and I am sure they were told to get physical. They did, and the refs called them on it. I did not think any of the PI calls were even close. Now, they might have missed some stuff but the stuff they called was correct.

and every game has missed calls. You're just more likely to notice them if your team is the one taking the L

We've spent the last decade going back and analyzing calls and decisions. Playing the the coulda, woulda, shoulda game... it's what losers do. It's the moral victory way. Its so sweet to watch Bama have to do it.

"We would've won if...."

There are no "if's" for Tennessee today... 52-49. Done deal.

Bama DB's and Safeties could not play with our receivers. That is the primary reason they had so many penalties. And one might have called PI or holding on them every passing down. I saw many Tide PI's and holding on our receivers that were not called. They should have had 20 penalties.
