You played a heck of a game! Keep your head up! I bashed this team a little at half time, but I'm proud of them!!!! Bring this effort every week!

Unfortunately, he's also the goat tonight

(Edit to clear things up:

I'm not saying I wasn't proud of his effort and everything he did.

I'm just saying that he unfortunately was also, at the same time, that because of how the game ended.

It was not a mean "FU guy" type of usage of unfortunately

It looked like he was sitting there by himself on the bench there at the end; maybe I was wrong though.)

If not for Pig, as well as many other great efforts we never would've been in that position in the first place. Tough loss tonight, many positives though.

It happens. He was trying to make a play for the team and it cost him. He played his ass off today. Pig is becoming our playmaker.

It isn't like the entire team was 4th string. They had their starting OL were only missing one WR, and of course, they had a guy named AARON MURRAY.

And for that matter, Green is a pretty good running back. Our D outplayed LSUs today for sure.

Pig was just trying to make a play and almost did. It happens. These guys grew up A LOT tonight. It will come...soon.

Played a great game but it is so easy to lose in just one play. Kinda like Foster, he would play great but had some incredibly untimely fumbles

I am the biggest negavol on the site, but have to give credit to Pig. He played his heart out. Don't bash the guy for that last play.

Keep your head up Pig! If anyone on here tweets need to tweet words of encouragement to the guys. They played a darn fine game.

Pig played his heart out and played well.

But that fumble was stupidity. There is no situation in an SEC game where you reach the ball out to your fingertips. Especially on 2nd down.

can't put any blame on Pig or the team for that matter. Pig tried to make a play, big time effort on his part to get the job done. Game of inches and we all thought he crossed the plane but he was an inch short before the ball came out. The whole team over achieved and that is what Butch wanted...a team of over achievers. Great game and I applaud this team. They still have tons of work to do and a looong way to get there but they have heart. Go Vols

That play takes NOTHING away from his performance. Bc of him, we had a close game period.

One play does not make the game. You can argue we should have never been in that position, root cause letting them tie the score with 5 seconds left. We have to and will learn how to close.
