Not really. Arizona is terrible. But it looks like a solid win, which brings me to something I’ve said UT should do for a long time…don’t schedule App State or the like. Schedule power 5 schools that suck. Like opening with Virginia next year. They’re worse than a lot of mid majors, but it’ll be a name win. Smart scheduling by White.

We could schedule a team that hasn't won a game in ten years to play in 2026. As things go with the Vols, by 2026 that team would be a powerhouse ranked 3rd in the country. Playing teams at the absolute apex of their powers, it's what we do

AZ may not be a great team right now, but they played a pretty good game Saturday night. Anyone overlooking MSU is mistaken. They are a good football team.

Truer words never spoken. If I were the AD at a borderline former football power, scheduling Tennessee 4 years out guarantees the rebuild occurs on my watch!
