Wazzou vs Cal

Leach could crash the playoffs - would at least make things interesting.

Cal is where the idiots were living in the trees to prevent them from being cutdown
Yeah, I get the reference. That game was disappointing. Especially after the year before at Neyland. It just took me a minute. You say Trees I think Stanford. It is their mascot after all.

I thought the same at first. The Fighting Trees are losing to Washington 24-7 in the third.
A buddy of mine is getting ready to move to the Tree for a Post Doc. I may have to start pulling for them in his honor. He's a die hard Vol, but makes his grad/post grad his 2nd team. I follow him since they've all been Ivy or Pac 10.

I've always liked Stanford and Oregon. Totally different play styles but fun to watch both. People think I'm weird but I like the tree mascot.

I went to Stanford for a week (workshop) - it's beautiful; really spectacular. Was going to buy some Stanford gear but then realized I really don't have any affinity for their sports teams.

PAC 10 after dark is always entertaining. My only criticism of the Tree, is they need to embrace it more. It's fun being weird. My boy is leaving Oregon. The state, not the school. I hope he enjoys being at a good football school again.

I really, really want Wazzou to win out and find a way to make into the CFP.

Yeah he has done a lot of "losing" at two of the worst P5 schools out there. It might not have worked out but I still hate Fulmer and the UT administration by pulling out of the Leach deal.

Lol. So out of all the teams sarching for HCs in the past 3 years, not one hired the great Mike Leach. He is having a good season. UK made it into the top 10. He is benefitting from a down year from the PAC 12. Keep on believing the clown pirate would have been successful here. We would likely be even worse with Leach at the helm.

It is okay to admit the University made a grave mistake by not hiring him.

They didnt mae a mistake at all. Fulmer did the same thing that nearly every really good powerhouse D1 progrma has. Passed on a guy who is just not cut out to be a big time HC. But keep on believing.

I recorded this game and just finally got around to watching it. I've gotta say that I'm not impressed with WSU at all. I thought they were supposed to be some offensive juggernaut.

People think he is some kind of genius, such a good coach. Yet no big time program will hire him.
