Beam, Causey, Combs, and Sechrist all gone next year? I assume Sneed and Russell back?

Any top freshman coming in that doesn’t go high in draft?

As always, there will be guys that leave that were not expected to. But UT has several returning guys that will have high expectations next year. Only so many innings to go around this year, so some of the young guys will definitely play bigger role next year. The portal will play a part. There are visits already scheduled. Should be interesting.

I agree likely to have lots of transfers next season as talented pitchers will see Tennessee as a great destination. But based on who is in current roster. My best guess,

Likely in mix for Starters- Nate Snead. Dylan Loy, Mathew Dallas. Add AJ Russell if they can figure out his elbow issues.

Others in the mix for regular innings
Aaron Combs ( he is a Jr. , will he be back?
Chris Stamos, Derek Schaefer?

My best way too early guess:

Weekend starters:
AJ Russell
Nate Snead
Matthew Dallas

Bullpen:
Andrew Behnke
Dylan Loy
Chris Stamos
Derek Schaefer
Marcus Phillips
JJ Garcia

TV will fill in with some transfers and MAY convince Anson Seibert or Tegan Kuhns to come to college…if he does, one or both will be in the mix.

That should be a really good staff. We’ll need to get some serious portal talent and development to reload position players, though.
