Jimmy Hyams reported today that Pitt lost their starting PG to an injury. Has anyone else heard this?

Just got this off of ESPN....Pittsburgh junior point guard Travon Woodall is out a month with a groin strain and an abdominal tear.

Coach Jamie Dixon says Woodall will need four to five weeks of rest but will not require surgery. Woodall sustained the injury in the 17th-ranked Panthers' 80-69 win over crosstown rival Duquesne on Wednesday.

Woodall is averaging 14.1 points, 8.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds for the Panthers (6-1), who play at Tennessee on Saturday. Woodall will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by freshman John Johnson.

Trae Golden needs to show what he's made of.

Tomorrow is a huge game if this team is going to get into that 17-19 win range that looked a lot more likely before Monday. Never want to hear about an injury but it has to help us. We should be over any hangover from the big trip.

Strained groin and abdominal tear? Sounds like your average night in Bangkok. Kids these days need to step it up and learn how to play through the pain.
