So a man who got laid off because of this piss poor economy. Who would rather do whatever he can to support his family rather than mooch off of the tax payers is a loser? Really? I'd say someone who calls people losers without knowing their circumstances is a bigger loser than any pizza delivery guy out there!

You're pretty judgmental. You don't know why some people deliver pizzas. In this case, you would have known if you actually read the article. He's a college student. Yeah, what a loser! Only losers work part time jobs to pay for school. Also, it's hard to slam the door in someone's face when they make the joke over the phone. If you believe Fickell's wife, she laughed it off and didn't complain. The article claims the manager heard about the incident and chose to fire him.

Maybe next time you'll take 20 seconds to read what was said before you start insulting people based on their job. And hopefully you're a bit nicer when placing an order with those losers. Wouldn't want them to spit in your food or anything.

Hey now, I delivered pizzas while I was student teaching. I averaged between $17-20 an hour just driving around and eating za. Some pretty decent extra money. So, uh, bite me.
