Place to watch games in Athens

Hooters left town about 10 years ago. They just packed up one nignt and were gone the next morning. There are plenty of bars downtown if you can stand the obnoxious UGA students.:whistling:

Best places are Georgia Theater or the Holiday Inn. If you are going to Athens w/o a ticket to the game you should at least check out the tailgating, then head for a bar. Georgia Theater used to project the UGA game onto a movie screen but apparently they now have some sort of huge big screen monitor so they may be showing other games earlier in the day. Holiday Inn will have multiple cash bars and big screens set up in a large convention/banquet hall.
