He just said that there was no deal involving him becoming part owner of the browns in exchange for coaching at Tennessee. They asked Gruden about just coaching in general and he interrupted to say that he was working for MNF and excited about next week. Never said anything about coaching. Whole thing sounds a lot like Meyer to Ohio State in my opinion. That being said, I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm astounded at the number of high level coaches who trashed on a regular basis VN. The colllective narsacism on this site is just too much sometimes.
No one knows, everyone denies interest until the end, and everyone worthwhile is probably being approached. This may happen soon, or it may drag on for a while. It's hard, but best to just relax and let it happen (I say as I'm nervously chewing my fingernails). I hope and believe we're not going to have another disappointing hire. Apparently they have the money and the program is in much better shape. We're going to get someone solid. :thumbsup:
