I don't want to see our #1's staying in the game once it has become "clearly out of reach" for our opponent. That's kinda subjective, and that is Coach Heupel's decision. In my opinion, once he sees that...it's time to empty the bench and let the 2's and 3's play. Protect our starters from some BS injury, AND...get live game reps for the guys who will be NEXT YEAR'S team, AND give guys who have been practicing, sometimes for years...without quite becoming "1's" some recognition and opportunity. That said, if our 2's and 3's are still scoring, then our opponent shoulda brought better players and the score will reflect that. Those 2's and 3's deserve the chance to go Full Speed ahead when they are in there, and not be asked to take it easy, run out the clock or any such BS. .
