I look over and this guy has a Marlins championship ring on. It was huge and filled wth diamonds. He was not a big name but he was a pitcher. I need to look it up somewhere because I forgot his name.

It was at a hotel on Cocoa Beach for a fundraiser for a dealer who lost everything in the fires.

Didn't realize he played that long. Realistically he could've gotten a ring through the Reds in 1990. (let's not talk about that series too much though ok?). He didn't play in the postseason according to those stats, but he played in 3 games. To my knowledge, the team gets to make the decision as to whether he gets a ring. He didn't play for the yankees, sox or marlins during their championship years.

It would be a shame if he didn't get a ring for that historic run that the Reds made.

Every player that played on the Marlins those two years got a ring. Meaning if I was in the minor league system and was called up to spot start one game I would get a ring.

I knew a guy that's cousin played a game for the Red Sox in 2004 and he got a WS ring for that year. You can check him out here.

So here's a list of everyone who pitched at least 1/3 of an inning those two years for the Marlins.

i also know that most the admin staff got rings, as did the minor league owners higher ups.

True, so I'd say on average that more non-baseball players have rings than do baseball players.

I bet it's pretty close. Not every admin gets one, but I'd say at least 30 of the major league admin get it, then scouts and important minor league people, you are probably right.
