With football, I think there is more room to "take a chance" on a kid with athletic ability but limited football skills than you could in basketball.

This is Coach Pearl's team. With the exception of Chism, I am less than excited about the development of the players that Pearl has recruited. Can anyone of his assistance evaluate talent well or do they end up taking to many risks on borderline players?

It all starts with a point guard. Guard play can make everybody look good and we don't have true point.

athleticism makes up for some skills that players lack but the best players have to have the want to, to be good..... the hard working players make the whole team better at least thats MO..... Bad seeds also drag the other players down i think that mcbee will work hard and that will make the others work hard as well.. some of the bad seeds are off the team so i think we will start to see some improvment with chemistry and work ethic.....

Poor Pearl missed on a lot before he took Ramar. Then he had to boot. He then got Selby and thought it was solved, then his mom got her Worldwide We$ meeting and Selby leaves (the meeting took place while Pearl was in Israel).

If Ware stays in the class, Pearl will have his first stud PG under his watch.

We'll see how Ware developes but Selby was a huge blow. He can't get a break when it comes to PGs and this stuff dont' help much.
