Jarnell Stokes- From just the exhibition, Stokes is going to have a monster year and the quicker pace will get him easy buckets. He will be the leading scorer and rebounder for this team. I think 16/10, 55% shooting for Jarnell this season. He will be the best player on this team.

Jordan McRae- Jordy is not going to have the same numbers as last year. They will be down. But I expect better efficiency. Last year his shooting numbers were average. I expect a slash line of 45/39/80, with around 14 points/3 boards/3 assists and hopefully better defense.

Jeronne Maymon- He is truly the X-factor. He will struggle in the OOC part of the schedule, but he will be 100% Jeronne during SEC play, I doubt he scores a ton of points, but his rebounding, passing, and ball handling will make the difference. 10/8/2 with efficient scoring for Maymon this season.

Antonio Barton- Mr. Barton hasn't made his debut yet but will be 100% for Xavier. I expect him to make a difference in two ways. He is going to push the pace, and he is going to help defensively. I doubt that he will be a great ball handler and distributor. That wasn't what he did in Memphis well. But he will shoot, he will bring activity on defense, and he provides experience. 10/4 and two steals a game for Antonio, with 40% shooting from three.

Josh Richardson- He will make 1st all defense and I expect to see better shooting. Josh is the glue that will make this team go and he will be very vital to the team throughout the year. I don't know if his scoring will go up, but I expect better shooting from the outside. 48/30/70 sounds right, and I like 9/5/3 for Josh and 2 steals a game. Him and Barton are going to make a deadly duo in the backcourt defensively.

Robert Hubbs- Everyone is excited about the five star freshman, and we should be. He is going to be an All-SEC first team player...in 2015. He's still a year away. He's raw, which is scary. He's pretty damn good already. He'll get 15-20 minutes a night and be expected to do what Jordan McRae did in 2011-2012. Provide instant offense. I expect 8 points a game with a 45/37/75 line with a couple 20 points game sprinkled in the game log.

Darius Thompson- Darius will get 10-15 minutes a game at the backup PG spot. He's a liability on defense right now. He needs to get laterally quicker, but damn he can shoot it. I like his poise, and he's impressed me. I doubt he'll light up the stat sheet, but he's going to be a much better option than what we've had in the past. 5 points for him per game while shooting 38% from behind the arc, and give him a couple assists per game too.

A.J. Davis- This 2013 class is going to be something. Our third freshman has talent and length, but is raw. He can score. He's an inside/outside guy that can also dribble, but his rebounding needs to improve. I think he can provide 4/3 with around 10-15 minutes a game.

Armani Moore- Expect a big year for this young man. He looks quicker this season. He's going to get close to 20 minutes a game IMO. I think 6 points and 3 boards sounds right with about 44% shooting, and then add a steal and block also. He's going to be big time defensively.

Rawane "Pops" Ndiaye- He's our "In Case of Emergency" player for this season. He's going to come in when Jarnell gets in foul trouble. I actually would give him a few minutes (maybe 5-10) but Coach Martin likes the short rotation. I doubt he plays every game this season, but he will have to be relied upon sometime this season.

Derek Reese- I don't expect much playing time for Reese this year. His chance will come in 2013-2014. If Moore or Davis get hurt, he is next up on the docket. Maybe if the Vols need instant offense, or are having spacing issues, he comes in and gives Tennessee a lift. But he's a year away from making an impact.

D'Montre Edwards- Say what you want, but when he came in against Southern Florida, I saw a stronger player that gave very good minutes. He is probably the 5th wing if one of McRae/Richardson/Hubbs/Moore goes down, but he might be able to play if minutes become available, especially if the Vols struggle on the boards.

Quinton Chievous- He's not a 3, he's not a 4. So what do you do with him? He can definitely play defense, but with Richardson/Moore, you seem to have your answer. He might come in if the Vols are getting killed on D by a wing player. But I don't see minutes for him this season with his lack of offensive ability. However, you don't get rid of a guy like him that goes all out. I tell Q to be patient, work hard to develop his shot and ball handling, and hope he can be the backup 3 next season.

Agree with a lot of what you're saying, but if those point totals are accurate you're saying we're gonna average around 85-90 Ppg. Also, there's just not enough minutes at the 3&4 for Hubbs, Moore and Davis to get as many minutes as you're saying.

We've got same talented depth, great problem.

Guy I didn't get to watch the whole game, but I am starting to think your Hubbs and DWade comparison aren't so far fetched. I heard he got off to a slow start, but from the highlights that I saw, he will be able to score in a variety of ways. And after a couple of those buckets he was being a floor general in the transition defense.(pointing out assigments) Which tells me, he isn't gonna be a timid fresh. He wants to be a leader this year.

Dude could be the best to come thru here in a while. IMO

Yep I always thought that was a fair comparison. Not quite the finisher as Wade atty this point, but you see the better natural shooting ability. If Hubbs is able to develop as we think he should, he will be great. But we already knew this.

Coach K actually started the comparison if that means anything to anyone....Hubbs biggest weakness is his passive style. It's why Martin has told him, shoot the ball or your sitting next to me. It's why McRae on at least 2 desperate occasions told Hubbs to stop passing and shoot. He was this way during high school as well, he would get his but he could've been even more dominant.

He needs to realize that nobody can stop him, that he's better than anyone else out there, and play like it. The second half he started to, he got some confidence and McRae was on the bench so he was kind of option 1 on the perimeter.
