One of the more interesting points that I have heard on the Animal today was made by a UT fan in attendance in South Bend.

The fan claimed to be sitting around a cluster of parents of UT offensive and defensive linemen. When asking them about the team chemistry, they made two points.

The first point the parents made was that there was not ONE single player on the team infecting the Vols with a bad attitude. The second point was that the skill players in general were more concerned with their stats than winning ball games, and that those players were being coddled by the coaches.

I'm not saying that isn't true, but players' parents are almost the worst analysts because they have such a bias.

Fulmer does seem to pick and choose his favorites though - and his least favorite.

I agree that the veracity is in question, and that parents are often too close to the situation to be objective.

The idea of CPF picking favorites makes me wonder if he can repair his incestuous coaching staff.
