These are the players of the week according to CFN. I think we've done pretty well this year if this is true! Congratulations Phil Fulmer and GO VOLS- Beat the Cats this Saturday!!!k:

We are the only school with multiple players. That is very impressive. I think that Meachem and Ainge both have a very good shot at earning those honors again this week.

Notice those are all offensive players except for Mayo once.

Our defense hasn't been anything special.

What does that have to do with having a good season? Football isn't an individual sport. Meachem had a big day against LSU, as well. That didn't translate into a win.

Our team has had a very good year. Going from 5-6 to 9-3 is much improvement and possibly a good bowl to go to as well! Congrats Vols and beat KY this week!

According to CFN? Okay...but CFN is not exactly the end all be all imo.

So according to the SEC, Andre Woodson has as many as Erik Ainge and Jamarcus Russell has 3. Interestingly though, Jerod Mayo is the only Multiple Defensive player of the week in the league...TN does have the most total with 6, LSU with 4 is second.

but 5 of the weeks listed by the SEC and CFN don't match in one way or another...just depends on who you're reading...

but either way...it's not been all bad has it. some really good performances this season.

I would definitely put more stock into what SECSports says instead of CFN, I was just too lazy to try and find it.
