We all know many of the greats from college that went on and had exceptional pro careers.
Example: Peyton Manning.

I want to know who are some of the players that had surprising Professional careers but didn’t meet their college potential?

Reeves maybin is a captain for detroit. Jakob johnson has been a fullback with the patriots for a while. Khalil McKenzie has arguably been a better pro than he was college player.

You could probably take anyone from the Dooley/Butch years and guess they have been better since making it to the league. Those coaches did them no favors.

Here is my best 3 ...

Pat Ryan - 14 seasons as an Eagle and Jet QB; backup QB at TN

Eric Parker - Backup WR and punt returner for TN. Starter for about a decade for Chargers

Anthony Herrera - Long time starter for Vikings; Hardly made field for Fulmer, who, AH ranted against for years

Phil Simms, played for Eastern Podunk somewhere and had a great career with Superbowl rings with the Giants. Of course the Big Tuna was coaching then.
