Zander Sechrist, in his last comments in a UT uniform: “I was blessed enough to have him recruit me. Growing up in a single-mother household and talking to this man mostly every day and every week, he was just like a father figure to me.”

Christian Moore, in his last comments in a UT uniform: “He really cares about his players, and he would do anything for his players. When you have a role model like that, you’ll do anything for him. I’ve told people multiple times, I’d do anything for that man.”

Christy Behnke, mother of Vols pitcher Andrew Behnke: “These players are so loyal to him, and I think it’s because he connects with them in a way I don’t think many coaches would be able to do.”

That pretty much says it all. If people are wondering why TV is so loved by this fan base, all they have to do is read those comments. If I was a potential transfer or a high school prospect, I’d be paying close attention. I particularly like TV’s comment where he said if you’re strictly looking for a payday, don’t waste our time or yours. It ain’t all about the money.

Daddy hat wearing blind dates?

(Accidentally didn't hit reply. Was referencing the contract incentives question.)

This is what makes me the most upset about McElroy's comments. If your customers are saying this stuff, then he is exactly who you want leading your company.
