I think the QB getting hurt will not be good for Ohio St. Plus, they will have a tough time with Wisconsin.

I knew this was coming last couple of years when they would say "the top four will be picked by a committee!"

Alabama stays at 1, Oregon at 2, TCU jumps to 3 while FSU falls to 4. OSU 5 and Baylor 6. Florida State is gonna mess around and be undefeated and not i the playoff. Imo i think they are the 5th best team ive seen. I would put Bama 1, Oregon 2, Baylor 3, and TCU 4. I think TCU is the better team then Baylor but Baylor won head to head.

If they beat GTech they're in.

Yeah, folks have been screaming for a playoff and the powers that be have found a way to screw it up. Oh, and there's no way Alabubba will be on the outside looking in. Even if they lose to Mizzou, they won't drop any further than #4. Book it!

If ESPN has their way...and they usually do from Heisman trophy candidates/winners to "popular coaches" (notice their treatment of Kiffin), to legitimate "up and coming football programs" etc....they'll get

1 school from the SEC
1 school from the Big-10
1 school from the Pack-10
1 school at large (they're praying it'll be Notre Dame).

This is their ultimate outcome. Why? Television ratings. Do you really think they want 3 schools from the SEC? Most "hosts" on ESPN are Pack-10 or Big-10 graduates if they're not ivy-leagues.

They're the shepherds and we're the sheep.

In that case Baylor should get TCU 's spot.

If they are really close in the committee's eyes then yes i agree, butbi still think TCU is better. If the top 4 win next week then the poll wont change. TCU vs Oregon would be a great game the probably couldnt stop each other and it would end up like the Baylor TCU game. Were its just back in forth thats a game id pay for. But FSU better hope they move up cause Bama would blow FSU out.

What 3 schools from the SEC would you put up there?

It's really comical watching all the ESPN guys like Herbstreet, Holltz and the gang politicking for Ohio State. All they have played is cupcakes. Lower tier teams. They played 1 good team and got their ass beat.

Congrats and a big like for you. Your one school from each division is exactly why a "committee" is picking a top four for the playoff. They are afraid the computers would have two or three SEC teams in it!

Playoff committee set no criteria up front. Should be mandatory all conferences have a champion and that champion move to a playoff status and best team standing is the national champion. Politics now dominate college football. Bottom line Florida state should and be number 1 until they loose. I am a Vol fan until death and don't even like Florida state but that is the way it should be.

Completely disagree, until other divisions have a comparable stregnth of schedule just grabbing each champion means only one team would deserve to be there.

Why the hell should FSU be ranked number one until they lose? What happened last year shouldn't mean a damn thing.

Until FSU loses to Georgia Tech this week should be number 1. I think both FSU and OSU loses. Which if thats the case my final poll prediction would be Alabama 1, Oregon 2, TCU 3, and Baylor 4. Now if Bryce Petty doesnt play for Baylor they lose it then FSU stays in 4 even with the lose.

Baylor getting screwed. If Tn beat Florida as example and both had the same record say 5 and 1 but TN beat Florida would it not be wrong to give Florida the title. Baylor beat TCU and they both have 1 loss but tcu is ahead of them in the playoff. Bull****! Politics
