I tried pasting the article with my phone. This was near the end of the article. Maybe someone else can post it.

But with 76 teams playing in 39 bowl games this coming season, the "bowl experience" isn't what it used to be. It's like beating Tennessee or Texas -- everybody's doing it.

Unfortunately, it's true. That's what's bothered me most about the past 3-4 years-that the current state of the program is just embarrassing.

ESPN just loves it that we've had a horrible few years. Right now they're obsessed with all the inbreeds to our southwest and the criminals to our southeast. Once the tables are turned in the SEC, they will be all for promoting UT again. Until then, F whoever wrote that article.

ESPN doesn't "hate" UT! UT isn't winning therefore they get pushed aside. When UT starts winning, they will be back on us. It's just how these things work.

If our coach was "The Ole Ball Sack", then ESPN would love us! :banghead2:

ESPN can't kiss Spurriers butt enough!

ESPN ignores whoever is losing and jumps the bandwagon of the current winning teams. If they were smart (yeah, right!) they'd start saying good things about us so they won't look so dumb when we start wiping the floor up with the rest of the SEC.

Why would they look dumb? No one remembers predictions anyway as there are 12,000 of them on ESPN and they change daily. Colin Cowherd put Bama on upset alert last week and people on here ripped him for it.

Someone on ESPN put Bama on upset alert last season after UT beat S. Carolina. Who was it? I have no idea becasue the game came and went.

I agree. But for a talking testicular cover; well he is quite quotable. The old very wrinkled ball sac is always good for a few quotes. With as much air time as ESPN has to fill he is great for them.

The part that sucks the hardest about that quote is that it's hard to argue with. After the UK debacle, we pretty much deserve everything we get until we clean up Doolander's mess.
