A long way to go, but . . . let’s say we end the season 11-1 with a loss at Georgia, Georgia ends the season 12-1 with a loss to Alabama in the SECCG, and Alabama ends the season 12-1. Let’s also say the only undefeated team at season’s end is the OSU-Michigan winner (hoping someone can knock off Clemson along the way). How does the SEC not get three teams in?

Clemson could play spoiler to 3 SEC teams.

The committee would slit their own throats before they allow 3 "Trailer Trash" SEC teams in the playoff, JMO!

Don't think anyone wants to see Clemson in the playoffs this year because of their week schedule.
If Michigan upsets Ohio State and goes undefeated, I think the playoff spots will be handed to 2 SEC teams and two Big Ten teams. As expected, USC blew it again this year.

Agree that no one outside the SEC wants three SEC teams in, but a one-loss Tennessee team would have a significantly better resume than a one-loss OSU or Michigan . . . IMO.
