Playoffs should be kept at 4 teams, as it is now starting with week one teams are basically fighting for playoffs, which makes this sport the best. Also think you should have to win your conference to get in.

NIL could ruin CFB or it will make it a more level playing field. For the most part Alabama, and others I’m sure has had NIL deals since Sabin. Are players smart and mature enough to handle fame and fortune. I read where Young and Strout share their money with their offensive lineman which would make them want to protect the QB. It should be like restaurants where waiters and waitresses share their tips.

Portal quicker way to build a program, seems like you’re only supposed to be able to transfer one time but I could be wrong but seems it is happening more often. And if a coach comes down hard on a player is he going to transfer. Seems to make it harder on old school coaches. Old School still works. Last thing I think players should sit a tear if they transfer within the conference.

I never thought of a player sharing NIL money w others, so that’s a smart concept and a quality teammate. But then again, I could see a lineman thinking he should receive more than what he is receiving form the QB, etc. Greed usually takes over.

You can transfer as many times as you want to but only the first time gives you immediate eligibility. After the first time, you have to sit out a year.

I don’t understand the 12 just up it to 8 and that’s it. You get the 5 conference champions then next 3 are highest ranked. No need for a committee more than half don’t know what’s going on other than what they read or are told. Use 3-5 sources for the rankings. AP and Coaches polls have no bearing on rankings. No rankings come out until 3/4 of season is played.

Sankey is totally opposed to 8 team model because of likelihood it goes to five conf champs plus group of five top team. He wants 12 teams to ensure 2-3 SEC teams get in. Hes made it clear that 8 team model is a non starter and wont get SEC support.

See my take on nil on other threads ..anybody that's ever played the game knows a feud between teammates could be very costly . Tell me people won't miss a block or something on purpose .. You throw millions of dollars in the mix to stir the pot .
