C'mon people, it's October.

Who ya got in the MLB playoffs?

I'm an "Anyone but the Yankees" guy myself.

I know this is out of left field but I am looking for the A's to beat the Mets in the series.

I got ALCS A's versus Yankees
and NLCS Mets versus Padres

Dodgers have better starting pitching than the Mets... a lot of which hinges on Brad Penny's health.

I think the Yankees will stumble eventually, whether in the first round or the Series itself. As long as they do, it's all good.

Yes the Dodgers do but El Duque can surprise and I just think the Mets have a much better offense.

Could there be a more boring sport out of the big 3??? I rather watch nascar(love it), golf(like it but boring to watch), soccer(gay) than watch baseball

Ah, c'mon. It doesn't get much better than playoff baseball..

Homerun for the Big Hurt off Santana. Does it make anyone else all warm and fuzzy inside that Frank Thomas is in the post-season and the White Sox are sittin' at the house?

Absolutely.

I'm also with you, I'm pulling for everyone but the Yankees. The A's and Twins are both teams I kinda like... Not so much the Tigers, but if they beat the Yankees, I will be glad.

Well the A's are one step closer after getting a huge win in game win over Santana.

The White Sox may be sitting at home, but they're probably admiring their World Series rings as they do so.

The sound you hear is Barry Zito ringing the free agency cash register.

Yeah pretty much.

Plus I think this is where the Twins really miss Liriano, Bonser is not who I want to go to for a must win in game two and then you have Radke who seems to be held together by rubber bands these days.

The A's are throwing Estaban Loiaza tomorrow. I don't think anyone's going to confuse him with Tom Seaver.

Frank can do that too, while he's in the playoffs again.
I'm sure Frank is proud of his immense contributions to the Sox winning the title last year. That ring was earned every bit as much as the one Mitch Richmond received for holding down a seat on the Laker bench.

True, but he was there, and got one nonetheless. He only played, what, about a month for Chicago in 2005?

i could manage the Yankees. it's not even fair with the hitters the have. if their pitching halfway shows up, they should win easy.
