If we had beaten USCjr last year we would’ve burned the CFP headquarters in Texas if they would’ve kept us out bc Hendon was done. If they win out, big IF right now then they deserve to be in.Is FSU deserved of a spot in the final four without their QB? In my opinion the ACC is the weakest of the power 5 and a conference championship doesn’t hold a lot of water. I believe Alabama or the loser of the Big Ten would kill them. So would it really be the 4 best?
I will assume this is a serious question, so I'll explain:I still don't understand. You can only pick 4. Where's the or?
In that scenario I think FSU, B10 champ, Washington and Bama would be the picks. I know head to head matters, but a 12-1 SEC champ Bama, coming off of a win over #1 UGA, isn’t getting left out.Who do you take if it flushes out like this:
FSU 12-0
Washington 12-0
OSU 12-0 or 11-1
Mich 12-0 or 11-1
UGA 12-1
Texas 12-1
Bama 12-1
That would be chaos and I would love it. What is the most important? Record, head-to-head, conference championship, SOS, quality win/loss, eye test....?
UGA would be out. Bama is a different team now but how could you look at Texas, who whipped Bama at Bama, and tell them that’s not enough to get in over Bama who has the same record? You have to take Texas, even if Bama might be the better team at the moment. That win has to mean something, especially being at Bama.Who do you take if it flushes out like this:
FSU 12-0
Washington 12-0
OSU 12-0 or 11-1
Mich 12-0 or 11-1
UGA 12-1
Texas 12-1
Bama 12-1
That would be chaos and I would love it. What is the most important? Record, head-to-head, conference championship, SOS, quality win/loss, eye test....?
Committee don’t care about best 4, it will be all about spreading the love. SEC stands no chance of getting 2 in this year unless Oregon, Washington and Texas all implode in their next game.My opinion is the best four are:
Alabama
Georgia
Oregon
OSU/Michigan
