Follow the wisdom of Solomon and cut that baby in half. I didn't see this being discussed in the 'Start Nico' and 'Don't Start Nico Threads'.

I to think Nico needs snaps against UTSA. Give Joe the first two series to "Prove" he is the man and then bring in Nico, next series bring in Joe, continue this through the first half. Whoever leads the team best starts the second half and they keep rotating unless one of them takes the job over.
Joe is clearly not going to be the one to lead us to pay dirt. I thought APSU was just an aberration but it was not that is just who Joe is.

My knee jerk reaction here was NO
Now that I think on it a bit, might be a decent idea for UTSA.

Pulling Joe and playing Nico to create a real.game competition with be just the thing Joe needs to.turn the light on...worse.case we find out Joe has hit his ceiling and we see what Nico can do.

Lol… now we’ve got threads saying:
start Nico;
don’t start Nico;
alternate possessions.

The team might not have been ready to play but the Football Forum is in mid season form!
Wait till I start my thread about Nico to the portal! 💩, meet fan.

If Joe is clearly not going to lead us to 'pay dirt', why play him at all? JM should be our starting QB against UTSA.

This is what happens when your team looks like they’ve never practiced.

I hate to be the one to break it to You, but Joe was far from the reason Tennessee lost that game. Referees' bs aside, that was the first game I'd say this staff was out coached.

Joe knew all spring and fall that the job was his, there never was a "QB competition" Now there NEEDS to be a QB competition but Joe deserves to have the opportunity to "defend" his bad play on the field.

I want to see Nico play as well....but this is a pretty stupid idea. QBS and the offense need FLOW and switching every series NEVER works. Find me ONE example of this being successful at a high level.
