I defiantly don’t know the rules as a lot of you other posters do and I aint saying I want or this will happen but…

If UT does fire Bruce Pearl before the NCAA comes down on UTs ball program, do you think it’s possible that the penalties imposed by the NCAA will be lighter than they would be if Pearl was still coaching? Or will the hammer fall the same, regardless of what the AD does at UT now?

Seems to me that the NCAA would go lighter on our penalties if UTs AD went ahead and canned Pearl now. If that’s the case and if UT gets hit as hard as people are speculating, Pearl is as good as gone anyways, right? Then is Mike Hamilton waiting to see what happens?

Don't trash me for asking man I'm just curious lol. When you don't have a firm grasp of the real situation or a clear understanding of rules and such, it's hard to form an opinion when your hearing so many different things on the tv and web.

Maybe if the penalities are harsh, Hamilton can fire Pearl for "Just Cause'???? Of course, he has enough on him now to fire him for "Just Cause"

IMO CDP should be let go anyways, he will be most likly get band from coaching for atleast 1 year, UT will lose schollys and most likley some of the existing players. Either way UT will have to rebuild and it might as well start over with a fresh plate. I would hate to see CBP go but UT needs to make an example of him and needs to send a message to all UT coaches that breaking the NCAA rules or the school rules is not exceptable. Either way it comes out with or with out CBP the UT basketball team will be a doormat once the sanctions come down.

Yah. What a retarded mistake that was. But go back to either defending pearl or calling for his head. I've noticed that the quality of posting depends on how well the teams doing. If they play like Sh1t, the board becomes a bunch of cry babies and 90% of the threads are retarded lol.

personally i dont think they should fire him, we were insignificant before CBP, the NCAA is gonna make their ruling anyway so might as well atleast see what they do first.
