I know the mess that Lane Kiffin got us in. Running away, the sanctions, yada, yada, yada. But, I cant help it, I hope he beats Notre Dame by 5 touchdowns next week.

I would like to see another SEC battle in BCS!! Notre Dame sucks, Kiffin sucks but would rather see 2 SEC teams in NC and let Kiffin get a win....fair trade

you know Tennessee has to recruit against Bama, Florida and Georgia? those teams playing for a national championship does nothing good for Tennessee at all

Except they have to share their earnings at the NC equally with all SEC teams. So yes in that regard it does help UT

that wont matter that much.. after our season any recruit that is going to base their decision on w/l wont pick us anyhow.
SEC being dominate will make it better which UT finally starts to win.

Sorry, I am not confrence loyal... I have rooted for ND before I became a UT fan. So for me, ND playing and beating Lame is a type of revenge... And I hate Bama.. so...

GO IRISH!!!!

IMO another SEC team deserves it more than ND.

Deserves it? How so? I certainly think that Alabama is a better team than ND; I also think that on its best day, Florida can beat anyone in the country. But, Notre Dame has beaten every team they have gone up against (something that no SEC team can say), and, while they have not played the toughest schedule in the nation, they have not had an easy schedule (Stanford and OU are both solid Top 15, if not Top 10, teams).

From the current rankings:

LSU has beaten 2 Top 15 teams, but also has lost two games.

Alabama has only beaten 1 Top 15 team.

Florida has beaten 3 Top 15 teams.

Georgia has beaten 1 Top 15 teams.

Florida has the best case, but there case is actually against Bama, not against ND.
