Can anyone think of a time when the political climate has been this high?

One of my co-workers sent an email out to everyone, it was just a quote. (the same quote that I posted earlier) Well that started a firestorm of epic proportions, all via email between the staff members. The principal had to step in and stop it.

It just struck me as funny that are left wing faculty members can send out all sorts of stuff, yet when a conservative minded person sends something out, it causes all sorts of problems, and the libs get pissy about it and retort to name calling etc.

Well when you have the major networks that will allow Obama an entire infomercial on his Health care "Plan" yet bans any commercials that criticize the plan, you'll tend to see things trickle down like that.

But personally....I don't care for any kind of that mass email crap, even when it's supposedly for things I agree with or support. Too much of it is hersey and made up crap that's passed as fact and in in the end it's not helping anything.

Conservatives never resort to getting pissy or name calling...never. Especially in this forum.

I get conservative (god bless 'merica, kill the terrorists, universal healthcare is the devil) emails all the time from my coworkers. The difference is that I don't whine about it.

In California teachers just automatically assume that all their co workers are flaming liberals. you wouldn't believe some of the crap that comes out of these people's mouths. even in front of the students.

IMO, questioning the role of government needs to take place in the classroom. I know when we finish the revolution and get to the constitution its gonna happen.

“You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."*

300+ million are likely to have different views/values/priorities. The Interweb (thanks Al Gore) has democratized voicing these differences but many aren't very good at it.

The more one side trots out lunacy, the more the other side reacts with their own lunacy.

No complaint really just a disagreement, you see some people are of the opinion that nirvanna can be legislated if you have a president sign that legislation into law who carries a Hanuman monkey god totem effigy in his pocket at all times.

America’s abundance was created not by public sacrifices to “the common good,” but by the productive genius of free men who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes. They did not starve the people to pay for America’s industrialization. They gave the people better jobs, higher wages and cheaper goods with every new machine they invented, with every scientific discovery or technological advance—and thus the whole country was moving forward and profiting, not suffering, every step of the way.
