I am sure something I have done has allowed for text messages to be sent to my phone, but it is still annoying. Anyone else getting promotion messages for candidates? I just got one for Marsha Blackburn to elect her to stop the Chinese Communist Regime.

My wife has received multiple text messages for both Trump and Harris.

I'm on Android and just switched my SMS app to the Google one, and I went from endless spam to 0 spam.

In AZ I'm receiving probably in the neighborhood of 15-20 political texts per day covering national and state elections as well as prop votes. Be glad you don't live in a "swing state".

You didn't do anything to enable it. They just made it legal for them to text you.

Was just reading this yesterday and thought it was interesting/depressing (except that I think ActBlue is just as bad about it as WinRed). They send crazy amounts of texts and half of them are like “Hey, it’s Tim Walz” which can mislead people

Rocking the note 9. But it's starting to struggle.

This is the perfect phone for me though.

Galaxy S23 I think? It's almost 3 years old and iPhone users still always say "WTF" when I show them pictures I take. I don't even care to go in and get my free upgrade, except I think I messed up the charging inlet and it's getting harder and harder to plug it in. One of these days I may not be able to charge it and I'll be fkd. Maybe go take care of that this bye week

Lol. I lost my charger port capability last year.

Charge wirelessly.

Never done the wireless charging. How fast is it? Honestly, one of my favorite things about my phone is that it fully charges in about an hr.

Not long. When not in use, I can go from 30% to full in 90 minutes.
I'm typically charging when needed while making client calls

I'd just assumed there was another data breach and my cell phone # was sold to a bunch of scammers.

I had the same problem with mine, take a paper clip and straighten. You might just have some lint in it..... That was my problem.
