:realmad: I'd like to see what you all think about our chances of winning 3 or our last 4 and become bowl eligible. Can we beat Kentucky and Vandy's passing attack? Thanks

I don't know... our offense has been getting worse every week. UAB and SC do not have great defenses, so its not like we've just been inept against top 10 teams.

We'll probably have to score at least 20 to beat Vandy so chances are we lose that game. Kentucky we should win because they are terrible. Memphis is a toss up, they'll have the emotional edge by a million to one margin and they'll know this is a great chance to knock us off again. Notre Dame will probably beat us... so chances are we finish 5-6 and out of a bowl for the first time in 17 years.

I think we need to worry about beating Memphis before Vandy and Kentucky. :disappointed:

It will be very tough to win out. Vandy will be tough, along with Memphis. But I think we will do fine stopping the run. Notre Dame, AAAAhhhhhhhhh, I don't know. Can't even think about it now. But hopefully we do make a bowl game.

Beat the Common Ho's and sUcK?

I'll be surprised if we beat EITHER of them.

:eek:lol: :mf_surrender:

Like I said, we need to worry about having a chance to beat MEMPHIS...then Kentucky and Vanderbilt. If you think we have a chance against ND, then you have been doing more than drinking the kool-aid.

In 1959:

Hawaii entered the Union as the 50th State.

Dwight D. Eisenhower was President of the United States.

"Bonanza" and "The Twilight Zone" premiered on network TV.

"Ben-Hur" won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper (J.P. Richardson, Jr.) died in a plane crash outside Clear Lake, Iowa.

Art Wall led the PGA earning a total of $53,168.00.

Lee Petty won the first Daytona 500.

The Barbie Doll first went on sale in the United States.

Jim McMahon, Lawrence Taylor, John McEnroe, Danny Ainge and Ervin "Magic" Johnson were born.

...

AND

1959 was the last time UT lost to both Vanderbilt and Kentucky in the same season.

Vandy may give you fits. They are showing hunger for the first time in years. Tell you what, give Phil's doughnuts to Sanders, have Sanders eat the powdery delights and let CPF call the plays and you will do better.

Kentucky? Cakewalk. Memphis? They will play you like Southern Miss normally plays us... hard and tough and fall in the end.

Notre Dame... You HAVE to beat them. Don't care how you do it. Just do it.

RTR, if the Vols can hold the 'Domers under 40, they can claim one of those "moral victories" Bammers used to proclaim in Days of Yore.

Us Vol fans can identify with these guys:
