Serious question, what's the hate fest against Dykes?

Started coaching under Mumme at KY, Went to Texas Tech with Leach and put up gaudy numbers, and has SMU (you know the program previously KILLED by the NCAA) winning again.
Only bad stop he has had was at Cal and by the admission of both sides he never was a good fit culturally at Cal even though he still won more than he lost.

I mean we are TN so who knows. I have a little bit of hope after the AD hire but until they name the HC I will remain optimistically cautious. If they hired Dykes the VN would have a meltdown and mattresses would burn. Not even the best AD in the world could sell that hire to a fan base. Someone is trolling.
