I might agree with this if our D had, at least, shown some improvement as the season progressed. However, we seemed to get worse with each passing game.

It's my understanding he coached TE's and special teams?

I don't think its his fault that we lost 4 out of 5 guys that lined up at TE since last spring. (Clear, Meredith, Downs for much of the season and Croom). And if we underutilized Rivera at times, that goes back to play-calling.

And the kick coverage and kick return teams were much improved; I wouldn't lay most of the kicker/punter flubs at the feet of the coach.

Don't know if its true but I heard Dooley called some of those 30-40 yd passes on 3rd & 2....they were dumb plays so that makes sense!

I'd be happy with this. Still up in the air about whether I'd want Chaney to remain. We would be fortunate to keep these 3 as HC's tend to bring all their staff with them. However, if it's Strong or Fedora, they might want to get the best available to improve their chances to win at UT.
