I know the polls don't really matter, but can anyone explain how we dropped two spots for winning two games, one over a top 25 team and one over a fairly good team?

Belmont is good, but someone we should have beaten easily.

I think ESPN has despised the fact that CBP has put tennessee on the National Radar. Everytime they even mention CBP, they talk about his Chest painting episode, like its a bad thing...

This is the only thing they can really do to Tenn, and hope it affects their seeding....
They know, unlike Football, the rankings don't mean as much...

Why the hell is Gonzaga ranked that high?? One again, polls could matter less. There are only 65 positions that matter in college basketball.

makes no sense that Gonzaga is that high and tennessee is that low

Tenn is #16 in AP poll though

Wow... Xavier should've fallen more. And the coaches have always ranked Tennessee lower for whatever reason... majority just don't like Bruce I guess.

The coaches have us ranked exactly where we should be right now - if not too high. Minnesota certainly has an argument to be ranked ahead of us, seeing as they're undefeated and just beat a team that's better than anyone we've beaten.

It doesn't matter. If you win all week, and beat a top 25 team you shouldn't move down. Especially below a team that has one semi-quality win all year.

think of it as a possitive, we may actually be underdogs a little this year. which hopefully is a big motivator to the guys.

NC State has to find a way to win a close game, or else Lowe will be looking for a job soon.
