Another great race weekend at Barber (although it was hot as a mother...)
For the second year in a row, I got to take my car out on the track for some parade laps. It rained in the morning, so we didn't get to go as fast as last year. Still got to hit some of the turns pretty hard. Powering out of the inner loop was a blast.
The Rolex Series is growing - 26 Daytona Prototypes in the field this year (up from 6 the first year they were at Barber). GTS class full as well. The GTO's are performing well at every track.
Grand Am Cup race on Saturday was strong as well - about 50 cars between GT and ST class.
Anyone who likes road racing should definitely put a trip to Barber on the calendar.
