For some of the more afflicted football junkies amongst us, the next few days are as good as any holiday on the calendar. This upcoming August is of tremendous importance to a Tennessee football team looking to rebound off last year. There are plenty of story lines to follow, but part of the annual fun of two-a-days is watching the battles for playing time that will be taking place all over the field, like at center with Rico McCoy.

Does anyone have the rest of this article on volquest.com, if so could u post it....

I have access to volquest but I can't post articles from paysites.
Basically....
they want josh mcneil to prove that he can handle being an SEC center.
there could be competition at fullback between corey anderson and holbert.
the no. 2 running back spot good competition between coker and hardesty.
if mapu can assert himself well, the d-line could look better than expected.
mccoy and mayo could both end up playing linebacker with mayo possibly moving to strongside and keeping mitchell in the center.

DL of Harrell, Mapu, and McBride will be good (assuming McBride moves to DE). Ayers at the other DE. Weakness is lack of depth. Losing Fisher to injury and Bolden being a disappointment hurts. Bolden needs to be in better shape, to be a contributor.

Coker could push both Hardesty and Foster assuming he no longer has a problem fumbling. Hardesty seems injury prone. I think Coker ends up being no. 2.

Ligon and Parker at Guard. McNeil at Center. Sears and Young at OT.

Yeah, just to make this clear for the future, not only is this against the rules, but there's a reason. VN has become a pretty big and well known Vol site... if we were posting paid articles, there could be a lawsuit to have them taken down, at least as far as I understand it... and I don't want to see Freak have to deal with any problems like that with the site. :biggrin2:

Yup. You done good. :biggrin2: I just want to be sure everyone understands this... we don't want Volquest and the Knoxnews and whoever else getting their panties in a wad by seeing that people are requesting the articles to be posted here for free. :)

That was not a summary. That was an opinion. Nothing wrong with that. I just think in the context of this thread your post is probably being interpretted as a summary. It did say that Coker has had a great summer. And, maybe he will push for a lot of carries but that article does not say that. The article also says nothing about Hardesty being 'injury prone.' In fact the opposite, it says he has recovered much faster than expected and is at 100% right now, which is unusual for less than a year after an ACL tear. Just wanted to throw some stuff from the article in there.

Yeah, just his opinion and certainly nothing wrong with that. Just summarizing a little more of the article.

Bless you Remus . . . I'd even go a step further and ask everyone not only to refrain from posting pay material, also please try to refrain from cutting and pasting entire articles from free sites. A short summary with a link will suffice just fine and it will keep you from being a plagarist. :hi:
